FAQ for Inflatable Rentals
 
How far in advance can I reserve my Moonwalk or other rental?
The earlier you can make your reservation the better your chance at getting the date you want. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible, but we will always work with you even if it’s a last-minute request.

How long can I keep the Moonwalk or other rentals?
The standard length of rental is a full day for example 10am until 6pm, these times can be adjusted to fit your event or party.  If you would like to reserve them for an extended length of time we will work with you on a pro-rated basis, provided there is not overlapping reservations.  Each reservation is given personal attention and we will be as flexible as possible when working with you and your schedule.

What is My Big Birthday's policy on inclement weather?
If the weather is not cooperating on the day of your reservation we will be happy to work with you to reschedule your reservation with no cost or penalty. As a safety precaution, if it is actively raining or storming we will not deliver or setup the unit. However, if it is not actively storming and you wish to have the unit set up, we will be happy to do so. Once the unit is set up we will be unable to provide any reimbursement or refund for bad weather.  We will work with you the day of your rental if threatening weather is present or approaching.

Do I need to provide anything or do anything special?
My Big Birthday will provide and set up all necessary equipment. The blower motor will need to be located within 100 feet of a standard electrical outlet. An area that has been cleared of any debris will keep the setup process quick and efficient.

What should I expect on the day of the party? How does the process work?
We will deliver and set up the unit at a prearranged time. Before and during setup we will discuss placement options for the unit, review the rental agreement, and go over any questions regarding safety, proper use, and any other topic you wish to discuss. If payment has not already been made, it will be due upon setup of the unit in cash.

Where can I have the Moonwalk setup?
A moonwalk can be set up in many different places on your property. The surface must be mostly flat and relatively firm - grass, concrete, asphalt, and smooth gravel are all acceptable. We will anchor the unit either by driving stakes into the ground or by using sandbags where stakes cannot be used. Please let us know ahead of time if the unit needs to be set up on concrete or asphalt so we will be prepared with the approriate supplies.

How much space is required for setup and proper use of the Moonwalk?
20’ x 20’ is more than big enough for the standard Moonwalk.

How safe are your Moonwalks?
All of our Moonwalks are new, clean, and well maintained. It will be necessary for an adult to be in supervision of jumpers at all times. By following basic rules all children will be safe and have a great time.  If you need someone to stay with the unit to supervise the jumpers, My Big Birthday can provide an attendant for a minimal cost.

How many jumpers can be in the Moonwalk at one time?
As a rough average, there can be six to eight jumpers jumping together but it really depends on the size of the children. What keeps the moonwalk the safest is to separate the smaller kids from the bigger kids.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my reservation?
Simply give us a call or send us an email within 7 days of your party. If you need to reschedule your reservation we will work with you to choose another day. We do request that you provide us with as much advance notice as possible. The sooner we know about the need to reschedule the more flexible we can be.

Is a deposit required to reserve your date?
Yes a $35 deposit is required on a moonwalk rental. Special Events and large packages may require an extra deposit. Please contact us for details.
 
Can I use a Moonwalk at a park?
Absolutely. You will need to reserve the area and get a permit if necessary and fill out all necessary paperwork. Please be sure to ask when reserving park space if a generator must be used. My Big Birthday can supply one but at an additional cost. 
 
Do you have Insurance?
Yes, My Big Birthday is fully insured for general liability coverage.  We are only responsible for our own negligence, not yours. This statement in no way implies legal responsibility. In reserving your Moonwalk you will be required to sign a rental agreement and "Release and Assumption of Risk" form that lists specific terms and conditions of the rental.
 
Can we pick up from you?
Absolutely not! All setups are done by trained My Big Birthday employees. Inflatables weigh from 250 to 500 lbs and should be installed by a trained professional. Injuries can occur if set up improperly. The safety of the kids is our first priority. This also keeps our equipment in the best condition possible!
 
What is your local delivery area?
Our local delivery area includes Henry County. We are happy to deliver to other counties but a delivery service charge will apply. Please contact us for additonal information.
 
FAQ for Theme Parties
 
1. Are invitations included?
Yes invitations and postage in included in all theme parties.
 
2. For what ages are the parties most appropirate?
Our parties are designed for children ages 3 and up. Please call us to discuss parties for younger children, we will be happy to make special accomadations for our younger guests.
 
4.What should the children wear to the party? 
Boys may put on costumes over their clothes.  Girls may wear a leotard or swimsuit to facilitate costume dressing in a group setting.
 
3. Can boys attend the princess parties?
Of course, we love to have boys at our parties every princess needs a knight or a king. We will gladly provide the gender appropirate costumes and crafts for your confirmed guests.
 
4.Where is the party held?
We bring the party to you. Our parties can be held at your home, church, park, etc.
 
5. What are your party hosting options?
We offer 2 types of party hosting.
Self Hosted Parties: We are currently working on a rental party package, if you are interested please contact us for details.
Hosted Parties: A professional party planner will direct and host this party for you and your guests. She will lead the children in all activites, crafts and games.
